My relationship with photography began the slow way on a fully manual 35mm film SLR. No shortcuts, no automation. Just light, timing, and intent. That foundation still defines how I work today: considered, disciplined, and deeply observant.

Before photography became my full-time focus, I was immersed in Perth’s art world. I exhibited regularly, and my paintings found homes within some of the city’s most respected private collections. That background continues to shape my visual language — composition, tone, balance — now expressed through weddings and portraiture.

Portrait photography became personal with the birth of my daughter. Photographing her taught me restraint, patience, and how powerful quiet moments can be. It’s the same sensibility I bring to every wedding: noticing what matters, without interrupting it.

I am an accredited professional and a long-standing member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography. More than a credential, it reflects a commitment to consistency, craft, and standards — ensuring your images are created with intention, care, and longevity.
