The day began with excitement and anticipation, starting at Harry’s family home in Kalamunda. Harry, an easy-going guy with a contagious smile, was surrounded by his closest friends and family. Laughter filled the house as the groomsmen got ready, sharing stories and memories that highlighted their bond. There was a sense of camaraderie, by the excitement of the day ahead.
After doing the groom and groomsmen photos, I drove the short distance to Rachel’s family home in Lesmurdie, the atmosphere was equally vibrant. Rachel, looking absolutely stunning when I arrived, Rachel was surrounded by her bridesmaids and family. As they helped her into her stunning gown, moments of laughter. With Rachel’s natural beauty she looked amazing in her dress and I was sure Harry would be truly impressed seeing her walk down the aisle. Rachel was one of the most relaxed brides I have ever photographed!
A Wedding Ceremony to Remember
The ceremony took place at the sunken lawn of Naked Apple Cider, a location that perfectly encapsulated the couple’s connection with nature and their commitment to each other. The sunken lawn, framed by tall trees and flowering plants, offered a beautiful setting for this wedding celebration. Julie Chesson, their marriage celebrant, had a way of connecting with the couple and their guests. With warmth and humor, she recounted Rachel and Harry’s journey together. Their story, filled with adventure and laughter, resonated with everyone present. When the couple exchanged vows, it was a moment that brought tears to the eyes of many. Rachel and Harry’s connection with each other was evident after signing the marriage certificate. They stepped aside and had a few moments together that I secretly photographed.

I had never been to Naked Apple Cider before, but my experience as a wedding photographer gives me the confidence to get the best out of every location. Well I was very impressed with the venue to say the very least what a spot for a wedding! The wedding photos from this day are unbelievable the venue has so many little corners for photos.
We did a Champagne spray photo that was rather funny with Harry turning the spray onto the groomsmen. Rachel and Harry were awesome to work with the connection between them shining through in the photos. What a fun wedding party to work with on the day, they certainly keep me on my toes.

As the sun began to set, the reception kicked off in the charming marquee. The couple entered the reception and went straight into the first dance then all guests partied on the dance floor before sitting down again to enjoy some food and speeches A New Beginning
