Awesome wedding at Kidogo Arthouse Fremantle
Deb and Frank’s big day was a very hot one at 40 degrees but that didn’t stop us getting so many incredible photos of their wedding day.
I was referred to these lovers from a couple who’s wedding I photographed last year. They wanted a wedding photographer who was fun laidback and captured natural candid style wedding photos luckily I ticked all the boxes for them.
My day started with the bride getting ready, we captured some amazing photos with Deb and her two bridesmaids.
Deb arrived at the church in a classic convertible Jaguar which the groom had organised as a surprise for the bride. The wedding cars were supplied from Bell Classic limousines the Jaguar Mk5 convertible and a hardtop version of the MK5 Jaguar.
The wedding ceremony was at St Edmunds church in Wembley with 150 guests attending the church ceremony. Afterwards they held an afternoon tea service for all the guests as not all that attended the ceremony were going to the reception later Kidogo Arthouse in Fremantle.
We headed to the West end of Fremantle for wedding party photos near the Roundhouse, This is a favourite area it’s a great spot to capture some wedding photos in Fremantle with the backdrop of the historical buildings.
The wedding was in January so the middle of a Perth summer which are typically very hot, this day was no exception being 40 degrees it was super hot. Luckily we were in Fremantle for wedding photos and the sea breeze was starting to come in by the time we arrived.
We did some cool photos with Ray-ban aviator sunglasses, there was a bit of a running joke on the day that Frank looked like Tom Cruise in Top Gun with them on HAHA. Frank ( Tom ) did admit he was the same height as Tom.
A flower petal throw was done with the bridal party we got some awesome images from.
The reception was a cocktail style function at Kidogo Arthouse location on the beach in Fremantle. Kidogo Arthouse was built in 1884 and was used to store goods, it’s a beautiful limestone structure that is very common in Fremantle.
After Deb and Frank entered the reception we did a cake cutting and my day was finished, although being a very hot summers day it did not hamper us in getting so many amazing photos.
