Georgia & Daniel’s Intimate Chapel Farm Wedding Hand-fasting, Vineyard Romance & Confetti

Some weddings are grand celebrations, while others are all about the people closest to you. Georgia and Daniel’s wedding at Chapel Farm was a beautiful, intimate celebration filled with genuine laughter, personal touches and plenty of love.

Set amongst the vineyards and natural surroundings of Chapel Farm, their day was relaxed and heartfelt, with a handfasting ceremony, beautiful portraits and a memorable flower confetti moment that required a little improvisation.

An Intimate Afternoon at Chapel Farm

The afternoon began with hair and makeup, with Siobhan taking care of makeup artistry and direction, helping everything come together for the couple’s special day.

Georgia looked stunning in her elegant wedding gown, featuring delicate lace sleeves and a flowing silhouette. Daniel wore a classic black tuxedo, creating a timeless look that suited the setting perfectly.

With a small and intimate wedding, there was a wonderful sense of connection throughout the day. The focus was on celebrating together, without the pressure of a large-scale event.

A Handfasting Ceremony by the Lake

The ceremony took place at The Lake at Chapel Farm, with Andrew Pickering as celebrant.

Georgia and Daniel included a handfasting ritual in their ceremony, a meaningful tradition symbolising their union and commitment to one another.

Surrounded by their closest family and friends, the ceremony was personal, relaxed and full of warmth. These are the moments I love to document, where the emotion feels natural and the people matter more than the production.

When the Confetti Was Forgotten

Every wedding has those little moments that don’t quite go according to plan.

For Georgia and Daniel, the flower confetti throw down the aisle was forgotten. Rather than missing out, we decided to recreate the moment over a large group photograph.

With everyone gathered together, the flowers were thrown, the laughter came naturally, and we captured a fun and memorable photograph of the celebration.

Sometimes, the most enjoyable photographs come from simply embracing what happens on the day. No stress, no overthinking, just making the most of the moment.

Vineyard Portraits with Georgia & Daniel

After the ceremony, we explored the vineyard surroundings for portraits of the newlyweds.

The soft afternoon light, rows of vines and natural landscape provided a beautiful setting for photographs that balanced romance with spontaneity.

From a quiet embrace to Daniel lifting Georgia amongst the vines, their portraits reflected the joy and playfulness of being together. I wanted the images to feel like them, rather than a series of overly directed poses.

The beauty of an intimate wedding is having the space to slow down, enjoy the surroundings and capture the connection between two people.

Wedding Photography at Chapel Farm

Georgia and Daniel’s wedding was a reminder that a meaningful celebration doesn’t need to be large. Sometimes, the most memorable days are the ones shared with a small circle of loved ones, surrounded by beautiful scenery and genuine moments.
