Nicole & Kieran’s Perth Zoo Wedding
Nicole and Kieran’s wedding was one of those days that reminds me why I love photographing weddings so much. It was full of genuine moments, laughter, and a few happy tears, all set against some pretty amazing backdrops.
Morning Preparations
The day started at Nicole’s parents’ home, where the buzz of excitement filled every room. There’s something special about capturing those morning preparations, the quiet in-between moments with family, the laughter with bridesmaids, and that final pause before everything begins. Nicole looked incredible, and you could feel how proud her parents were as they watched their daughter get ready for such a big moment.
Ceremony at Perth Zoo
Their ceremony took place at the beautiful Perth Zoo, a location that’s a little different and definitely memorable. With its leafy gardens and natural surroundings, it felt like a world of its own. As Nicole walked towards Kieran, the look on his face said everything, pure joy and love. Their ceremony was led by Blue Rose Celebrancy, who brought warmth and meaning to every word, making the moment feel deeply personal to them.
Portraits Around the Zoo
Afterwards, we wandered through the zoo for photos. It’s such a fun place to explore with a couple every turn offers something new, from shady walkways to colourful, textured backdrops. Nicole and Kieran were so relaxed and happy together, which made capturing their connection effortless. The photos really reflect their personalities light-hearted, warm, and completely in the moment.
Reception at Tom’s Providore
As the afternoon rolled into evening, the celebration moved to Tom’s Providore for the reception. The venue has such a welcoming vibe – a mix of modern style with a laid-back feel, perfect for a night of good food, speeches, and plenty of dancing. We finished the story of the day with a handful of portraits around the venue, giving their gallery a nice contrast to the natural setting of the zoo earlier on.
A Day to Remember
Nicole and Kieran’s wedding was such a joy to be part of. From the laughter at home to the heartfelt vows and the celebrations at Tom’s Providore, every part of the day told a story worth remembering. It was a privilege to capture it all for them, and I know these photos will bring back the feelings of their wedding day for years to come.
