Awesome Wedding at Sittella Winery, Amber and Jordan’s Unforgettable Day
Amber and Jordan changed the wedding date and venue, so I could photograph their wedding day.
Amber and Jordan came to see me at a wedding expo, unfortunately Amber was upset to hear I was unavailable for her chosen date. I was honoured to hear they decided to change the venue and wedding date to have me as the photographer.
Weddings are a celebration of two people, and their commitment to each other. Amber and Jordan’s wedding was a perfect example, set against the beautiful backdrop of Sittella Winery in the Swan Valley. Their day unfolded across several locations, each adding to the wedding story. From the morning at the grooms house to the bridal preparations at Mandoon Estate’s The Colony, and ending in the ceremony and reception at Sittella Winery. This wedding was an enchanting blend of emotion, elegance, and joy.
Groom’s Preparations
The day began with the groom, where the atmosphere was excitement and anticipation. Jordan, surrounded by his Groomsman to help keep him calm before the wedding.
The groom’s preparation is often an overlooked part of the wedding day, but it offers a unique glimpse into the groom’s perspective. For Jordan, it was a time of reflection, the small, candid moments, adjusting his tie, sharing a laugh with his best man. These images will be as a reminder of the support that surrounded him as he embarked on this day.
Bride’s Preparation: A Morning at Mandoon Estate
While Jordan was getting ready, Amber and her bridesmaid were at Mandoon Estate’s The Colony. Situated in the heart of the Swan Valley, Mandoon Estate is known for its stunning scenery and luxurious accommodations. The Colony, a boutique lodging option within the estate, provided a perfect setting for Amber’s bridal preparations.
Amber was no stranger to the lens, a few years earlier, she had been a bridesmaid at another wedding I photographed. In fact her only bridesmaid was the bride from the wedding I photographed a few years ago.
Seeing her now as a bride was a special moment, both for her and her bridesmaid, seeing the transition from bridesmaid to bride.
The Wedding Ceremony at Sittella Winery
Sittella Winery, located in the scenic Swan Valley, is renowned for its scenic landscapes and exceptional wines. It provided the perfect backdrop for Amber and Jordan’s ceremony. The winery’s lush vineyards, created a romantic and idyllic setting for their vows.
The ceremony was conducted by Chris Temov, whose personal approach added a special touch to the proceedings. Chris’s words beautifully captured Amber and Jordan’s journey together, their story, and their hopes for the future.
One of the most memorable moments was the look on Jordan’s face as he saw Amber walking down the aisle. It was a look to be captured. Amber, radiant in her bridal gown, walked towards Jordan, her eyes shining and beaming smile.
Wedding Photography at Sittella Winery
After the ceremony we did some photos around the winery, then walked down to the river for some photos around this area. Capturing a few more in front of the iconic Sittella Winery gates, before heading into the wedding reception. Sittella Winery always makes any wedding photography stand out due to the location, which is simply stunning. The photos from this day are incredible and will serve as a lasting legacy for Amber and Jordan.
Celebrations into the Night: Reception at Sittella Winery
Following the ceremony, the celebration moved to Sittella Winery’s reception area. The transition from the serene ceremony to the lively reception was seamless, with the winery’s rustic ambiance providing the perfect setting for the reception. The reception area was beautifully decorated, with floral arrangements and twinkling lights creating a warm and inviting atmosphere overlooking the vineyards.
Envy Event Group was responsible for the evening’s entertainment, and they did an exceptional job. The music selection was perfect, keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed. From the couple’s first dance to the lively dancing after the first dance, the music was a key element in creating an unforgettable celebration.
The speeches were a highlight of the evening. Friends and family shared stories and memories, some humorous, others touching, all painting a picture of Amber and Jordan’s relationship.
Reflections: A Wedding to Remember
Amber and Jordan’s wedding at Sittella Winery was a day filled with love and unforgettable moments. From the morning preparations to the emotional ceremony and the reception, every detail was perfect. As a photographer, it was an honour to capture these moments, to be part of their journey, and to document the connection they share. Seeing Amber again, this time as a bride, was a reminder of the power of a love story. It was a privilege to witness and to capture the moments that will become cherished.
Sittella Winery Wedding
Any wedding at Sittella Winery will be a day to remember, weddings are a huge moment in so many peoples lives and deserve to be celebrated in style. Sittella is a very special winery, and is a favourite location of mine in the Swan Valley, which has so many amazing venues to select from. The couple did well to select this venue and to have such a perfect day to tie the knot.
