Morning Preparations – From Crown to the Foothills
The day began at Crown Resort Perth where Daniel and his groomsmen were getting ready. Good vibes, tailored suits, a few laughs (and maybe a few nerves) set the tone for what was ahead.
Meanwhile, in the foothills of Perth, Khia was preparing for the biggest moment of her life. The light was soft, the atmosphere calm, and she looked absolutely radiant. Her hair was styled beautifully by Sarah Towers Hairstyling and her flawless makeup was created by Starlet Concepts, giving her that effortless bridal glow.
A Riverside Ceremony with Perth City Views
The ceremony took place at the ever-beautiful South of Perth Yacht Club, overlooking the Swan River with sweeping views of Perth city. There was talk of rain earlier in the day, but it held off perfectly — sometimes wedding luck is real.
Their celebrant, Anne Miller, delivered a heartfelt and personal ceremony. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Anne many times, and she always brings warmth, professionalism and just the right balance of emotion and humour.
As Khia walked down the aisle with the city skyline in front of her, you could feel the collective pause — one of those moments that reminds you why weddings matter so much.
