Stella & Julian’s Wedding at The Stables Bar, Perth

A celebration filled with warmth, genuine emotion and unforgettable moments.

Perth Wedding Photography | The Stables Bar Wedding

Stella and Julian’s wedding was full of love, laughter and celebration.

Their wedding day also brought an unexpected surprise. A major storm hit Perth. As a result, the ceremony had to move undercover.

Despite the weather, the day was filled with beautiful memories.

Getting Ready

The day began with breakfast, hair and makeup. There was also lunch and time to get dressed.

I photographed the preparations and the excitement before the ceremony. These moments help tell the complete wedding story.

I also photographed the groom and the bridal suite.

The bridal party later took a walk towards the venue. This gave us time for relaxed photographs.

A Storm Changes the Ceremony

The ceremony was planned for the iron gate at the front of The Stables Bar.

A major storm swept across Perth earlier so the ceremony had to move undercover.

The weather changed the location. It did not change the mood.

Stella and Julian exchanged their vows surrounded by family and friends. The ceremony remained personal and full of emotion.

A Ceremony Led by Marney McQueen

The ceremony was led by Marney McQueen, whose warmth, personality and musical talent added something truly special to Stella and Julian’s wedding.

As well as being their celebrant, Marney also sang during the ceremony. Her performance brought an extra layer of emotion and energy to the occasion.

Known for creating relaxed ceremonies that combine humour and heart, Marney helped make the ceremony feel personal and memorable.

Time Together

After the ceremony, Stella and Julian took a private moment together.

They had time to relax and enjoy the day. We then continued with photographs.

The pace was relaxed. Everyone could enjoy the atmosphere at The Stables Bar.

The Reception at The Stables Bar

The Stables Bar offered a unique setting for the reception.

Beautiful flowers and bud vases decorated the venue. Floral arrangements also featured around the bar.

Candles and the fireplace added warmth. The styling suited the character of The Stables Bar.

Guests enjoyed food stations and drinks. Meanwhile, the DJ prepared for the evening upstairs.

An Evening of Celebration

The reception began with the couple’s entrance. The MC then welcomed everyone.

The evening included speeches, laughter and special moments.

Stella and Julian enjoyed their cake cutting. There were also limoncello shots and their first dance.

Family and friends shared personal stories. The speeches brought both laughter and emotion.

The celebrations continued when Marney McQueen returned to the spotlight.

After leading the ceremony and singing during the wedding, Marney opened the dance floor with a beautiful rendition of Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On.

Afterwards, guests took to the dance floor. The music continued into the evening.

Later, everyone enjoyed late-night focaccias. The final call eventually brought the celebrations to a close.

Perth Wedding Photography That Feels Natural

Stella and Julian’s wedding showed that plans can change.

The storm moved the ceremony indoors. However, the love and excitement remained.

As a Perth wedding photographer, I focus on genuine moments.

I capture the laughter, emotion and connections between family and friends. I also look for the small moments that can easily be missed.

My approach is relaxed and natural. I don’t want your wedding to feel like a photoshoot.

Instead, I want you to enjoy your day. I’ll capture the moments as they happen.

Trends come and go. Natural colours and genuine emotion remain timeless.

Stella and Julian, thank you for allowing me to photograph your wedding at The Stables Bar.

It was a pleasure to capture your celebration.

Congratulations to you both!
