Monique and Hayden’s Stylish Perth City wedding at The Como Treasury
These lovers wedding day was a stylish affair with the ceremony being held at St Georges Cathedral with the wedding reception at The Como Treasury, Postal Hall.
When they were looking for a wedding photographer they found it to be a hard choice, until their Wedding DJ mentioned my name.
They wanted a wedding photographer who was relaxed and captured more of a candid style, after meeting with them we found we were a match.
The wedding was going to be in Perth City so they need a wedding photographer with experience capturing photos around the Como Treasury area.
I started with Hayden who was getting ready at The Como Treasury with his 4 groomsmen, it was only two until the borders opened 3 days before the wedding.
After the groom I went to the brides house in Leederville where she was getting ready with her two bridesmaids. Monique was getting ready in her art studio out the back which was a cool look for the photos with concrete floors with paint splattered on the floor.
The ceremony was a latish one for a church at 4pm as it didn’t leave heaps of time for photos afterwards once the congratulation and family photos were done. We focused on using the area directly around the church and The Como Treasury to maximise time for the wedding photos.
Incredible smiles as these lovers exit St Georges Cathedral after their wedding ceremony.
The wedding party entered the reception followed by the bride and groom there was such high energy in the room when this stylish couple walked in with loud cheers from the guests.
The reception was styled with long rows of tables with Bentwood chairs and simple flower decorations and candles that looks amazing in the Postal Hall at the Como Treasury.
After the speeches and cutting the cake the first dance started with the father of the bride and the bride, followed by Mother groom dance, both were to latin music with awesome moves by everyone. The bride and groom finished off with some hot moves on the dance floor before the guests took over and the partying started.
The Dj, Gabriel from Go Gabz DJs played some cool tunes throughout the night keeping the dance floor pumping, I have worked with him before and can highly recommend them to anyone looking for music for their wedding reception.
